The short version
- If you send us a message through the contact form, we use your details only to reply to you.
- This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or third-party fonts.
- We don’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time.
Who we are
This policy covers the website at ideaxxiom.com, which is run by IdeaXxiom (“we”, “us”). We decide how the personal information collected through this website is used. You can reach us about anything in this policy at support@ideaxxiom.com.
It doesn’t cover the IdeaXxiom platform itself, which companies use at their own addresses, such as yourcompany.ideaxxiom.com. When a company uses the platform, that company decides what happens to its people’s information, and we handle that information on its behalf under our agreement with it. If you use IdeaXxiom at work, your employer’s privacy notice tells you how they use it.
What we collect
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, work email, company, team size and a message. Only your name, email and message are required. We receive what you send as an email.
When you visit
Like every website, ours is delivered by servers that see your IP address, your browser type and the pages you request. Our hosting provider keeps these in short-lived technical logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use them to build a profile of you, and we don’t combine them with anything else.
We don’t collect sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it through the contact form.
How we use it
- To reply to you and, if you ask, to arrange and give a demo. If you’re in the UK or EU, our legal basis is that you asked us to, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our product.
- To keep the website working and secure, based on our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
- To meet legal obligations, if the law requires us to keep or disclose something.
We don’t use your information for automated decisions that affect you, and we won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Who handles it for us
We use a small number of service providers, who may only use your information to provide their service to us:
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps the technical logs described above.
- Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.
We don’t sell or share your information
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California and other US state privacy laws. Because we don’t track you, there is nothing to opt out of. We still treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out.
Where it’s processed
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where UK or EU law applies, transfers rely on recognised safeguards, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to reply and follow up on the conversation, and delete them when they’re no longer needed, unless the conversation turns into a business relationship that requires us to keep records. Hosting logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it if it’s wrong;
- delete it;
- stop using it, or limit how we use it.
If you’re in the UK or EU, you also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to data portability, and to complain to your data protection authority. If you’re in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the rights that law gives you, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.
To make a request, email support@ideaxxiom.com. We may need to confirm it’s you before acting on it, and we’ll respond within the time the law that applies to you requires. You can also ask someone to make a request on your behalf, if you give them written permission.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies. Our cookie policy explains the details, including the cookies the platform uses to keep people signed in.
Children
This website is for businesses and isn’t meant for children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we’ll delete them.
Security
The website is served only over encrypted connections, and access to the messages we receive is limited to the people who need it to reply. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we’ll tell you before it takes effect, where we have a way to reach you.
